Senior Accountant
They are a high-quality manufacturer. This is a newly created Senior Accountant position due to growth that will be responsible for accounting and FP&A to support the business and strategy decisions. Position will analyze financial results, evaluate drivers for operational results and business performance and identify areas of opportunity. This is a broad role that will also gain exposure to M&A work, purchase accounting, integration of acquired companies, work on non-accounting projects, and deliver executive reports for parent company and investors. Highlights of the Senior Accountant position:
Work remote 2-3 days a week
In acquisition mode, making numerous acquisitions and growing organically, Doubling in size
Exposure to M&A work, purchase accounting, PE firm, investors, executive leadership
Assist with numerous projects / implementations
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
Assist with M&A and integration work
Assist with FP&A and business strategy
Maintain financials in compliance with policies and procedures
Prepare balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies
Assist with accounting processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Assist with financial analysis for performance
Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related
Experience in Accounting, Finance and/or Audit
Public Accounting experience a plus
Strong data analytics and math skills
Advanced excel skills including
