GC with is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent
to join our team. We are seeking individuals with extensive
experience, who possesses real-time problem-solving skills and has
a proactive approach to quality and production. The ideal candidate
should be self-motivated, action-driven, possess excellent
communication and leadership skills, be a team player and have
remodel/ground up commercial construction experience. Average
project range $4million - $6million. As a Qualified candidate, you
will be tasked with managing the onsite execution fast paced
remodels in addition to, safety compliance, quality standards,
project workflow, subcontractor relations and schedule. Your goal,
with the assistance of the office Operations Team, is to complete
projects on time, withing budget and uphold quality standards. An
ability to lead under pressure with a proactive approach and
forecast unforeseen condition with a look ahead schedule.
Responsibilities: · Pre-construction meetings. · Conduct weekly,
onsite subcontractor meetings. · Communicate in a timely manner
with the Project Manager if any issues arise. · Read, understand,
and implement the project schedule, including tracking milestones.
· Have complete knowledge and understanding of construction
drawings and specifications. · Have a safety compliant mindset. ·
Manage the Receiving and inventory of materials. Communicate with
project coordinators for any deficiencies. · Provide daily,
electronic jobsite reports. · Support the project management team
in implementing project procedures, working documents and
standards. · Coordinate subcontractors and client vendors. ·
Coordinate inspections · Manage company assets. · Develop 3-week
look-ahead projections on a weekly basis to keep on schedule and
identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate a
solution. · Maintain “as built” drawings. · Be a “team player.”
Requirements: · Minimum 5 years’ experience as a commercial
superintendent · Large scope retail construction experience. ·
Proven ability to manage, coach and lead others to drive results
for overall project success. · Highly collaborative work style with
excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · OSHA 30
recommended · Organized · Digital jobsite reporting · Proficient
with Excel, Word, Outlook · Must travel. · Willingness to learn and
implement digital jobsite reporting programs. · Must provide list
of projects completed as a Superintendent. Our company is known for
