Ginger Bread Preschool and Childcare has full-time and part-time openings for Assistant Teachers to join our dedicated team at all of our locations: Sun Prairie, Stoughton, McFarland, Windsor, Deforest! FREE CHILDCARE FOR EMPLOYEES! Pay: $11.00 - $19.00 per hour Work Schedule: Monday - Friday multiple shifts available Our locations are open Monday through Friday: 7:00am to 5:30pm. Full-Time: 8:30am to 5:30pm (40 hours per week) Part -Time: We are flexible at Ginger Bread Preschool and Childcare and willing to work with you on creating your own part-time work schedule that best fits your availability. Education and Qualifications: Must have completed a minimum of 1 course for credit or non-credit in early childhood education, or completed the Assistant Teacher training within 6 months after assuming this position. Responsibilities for an Assistant Teacher: Assist the teacher in care and education of children, classroom, and supplies. Take sole responsibility for the group for short periods of time as required. Follow program of center as designed by the curriculum teacher. Assist teacher in evaluation of children if need arises. Assist teacher in parent conferences if need arises. Assist in keeping center neat, attractive, and safe (inside and out.)
