Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech Language Pathologist position is available in Des Plaines,
IL, offering a school-based setting predominantly serving
elementary students. This opportunity is ideal for both certified
clinicians (SLP-CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
candidates, with supervision provided for new graduates. The role
provides the flexibility to create your own schedule within
standard school hours, focusing on manageable caseloads of 35-40
students across one or two sites. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
speech and language therapy to students mainly in elementary
grades. Maintain and manage a caseload of up to 40 students.
Collaborate with school staff to support student progress.
Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development.
Adhere to school policies and therapy protocols. Qualifications:
SLP certification (SLP-CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship Year
status (SLP-CFY). Experience working in school settings preferred
but not required. Ability to provide high-quality speech therapy
services tailored to student needs. Strong communication and
organizational skills. Position Details: Location: Des Plaines,
Illinois Employment Type: W-2 employee, annual school year contract
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week aligned with school hours
Start Date: Immediate hire, within 1-2 weeks after job offer
Caseload: Elementary school students only, 1-2 sites with a
