Job Description:
Essential Job Functions: Production scheduling and release of
orders to manufacturing to drive efficiency and on time completion
to the customer. Liaison between Purchasing and Order Engineers.
Actively participate in Continuous Improvement events. Analyze
Requests for Ship Date Improvements and make timely decisions on
appropriate courses of action. Analyze, write and test
Configuration tickets. Create Part numbers, BOMs and Routes as
needed. Evaluate Neenah Core availability for potential improved
manufacturing start dates. Adjust Manufacturing start dates and/or
Customer promise dates when changes occur due to material
availability or customer revisions. Participate in Inventory
improvement team. Quarterly assist with keying inventory values
provided by production employees. Assist with Material
Optimization, Revisions and Work Order printing as needed. Key
inventory values on a quarterly basis., looking for improvements to
accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate on BOM issues or complete
research to support engineering. 2–4-year degree in manufacturing
related field. Other duties as assigned by manager. Position
Requirements Qualifications: Organized / structured in approach to
work. Decisive and independent approach to achieving results.
Precision in completing work with attention to detail and follow
through. Ability to see system view and consider cross-functional
impact of actions. Problem solving – ability to define multiple
alternatives and select the best. Frequent communication across
multiple levels of the team, Work with speed and urgency under
changing requirements 2 years manufacturing environment or
equivalent education Prior experience with computers – ERP, MRP,
Microsoft Office Suite. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of
Microsoft Excel. All team members are expected to follow the Code
of Conduct to the highest standards as well as to adhere to the
Attendance Policy of VT Industries. Physical Requirements Tolerance
for sitting long periods of time. Possess finger dexterity to
write, type, and use a calculator. Maintain adequate vision to view
small print and computer terminal. The physical demands described
