Job Description:
My client, a metal stamping manufacturer, is seeking a Quality
Manager to lead their quality department. This role involves
overseeing and maintaining the ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality
management systems, managing customer complaints and
communications, and supervising two direct reports: the Metrology
Supervisor and the Quality Lab Supervisor. Client Details My client
is a metal stamping manufacturer serving the medical device,
aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. Their capabilities
include stamping, tooling, die casting, welding, machining,
assembly, and more. Certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards,
the company has experienced consistent year-over-year revenue
growth and is focused on continued expansion. As a family-owned
business, they foster a culture rooted in family values and
prioritize internal promotion. This role is part of a strategic
succession plan, with the intention for the selected candidate to
eventually step into the Head of Quality position. Description Lead
and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) Department Ensure product
quality by developing, assessing, and improving manufacturing
processes in our production centers Partner with cross-functional
teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives Perform root
cause analysis and implement corrective actions Contribute to new
product development and enhance existing production processes
Uphold company quality standards and ensure compliance with ISO
9001 and ISO 13485 audit requirements Champion quality initiatives
across the organization Manage PPAP submissions and ensure
alignment with customer quality expectations Oversee manufacturing
operations to verify product quality Collaborate with manufacturing
teams to refine product quality and process methodologies Profile
Background in metal fabrication or machining 5 years of managerial
experience Experience maintaining an ISO 9001 QMS Customer
interaction experience Experience with ISO 13485 is preferred
