Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. As a crucial part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. You will have the opportunity to work with top-of-the-line equipment, and your technical understanding and mechanical skills will be highly valued. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and excellent time management skills. Responsibilities: Carry out routine preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning equipment, systems, and machine parts using testing and diagnostic tools. Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Analyze problems, identify trends, and develop strategies to prevent future issues. Effectively manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently. Participate in decision-making processes regarding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proven experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment maintenance, and basic safety procedures. Strong technical understanding and mechanical skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Solid electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems. Excellent decision-making abilities, with a focus on ensuring the efficient and safe operation of machinery and equipment. Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and operating manuals. High level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy machinery and equipment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
