Job Description:
CarMax is seeking a skilled Auto Technician / Mechanic to join
our dynamic team in delivering exceptional service and quality
performance within our automotive service departments across the
country. As an esteemed leader in the used vehicle industry, CarMax

customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be tasked with a
variety of mechanical repairs to ensure the proper performance and
safety of our vehicles. Your expertise in automotive mechanics will
make you a key player in maintaining our reputation for quality and
reliability. Diagnose and repair automotive systems including
engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking,
air conditioning, etc. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and
inspections. Communicate effectively with service advisors and
parts associates to manage repair needs and timelines. Utilize
diagnostic tools to accurately identify vehicular issues and
propose corrective actions. Maintain a tidy and safe work
environment in compliance with CarMax's standards and regulations.
Proficient in vehicle diagnostic software and tools Strong
understanding of automotive systems and components Excellent
problem-solving skills Effective communication skills Ability to
work independently and in a team setting Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance 401k ASE Certification preferred
