Description:

ProMedica Hospice, formerly Heartland Hospice, has an exciting opportunity for a RN to join our established growing hospice agency serving the Buffalo Grove and surrounding areas. This primary full-time position is a weekend position (Friday 4:00pm-Monday 8am) taking call from home and assisting with visits after hours. We have a dedicated triage nurse that will contact this nurse when a visit is needed. We are open to schedule so if you are available during some of the time between 4pm Friday - Monday 8am, please apply and we will see if the hours work.

Our RN's possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, great problem solving and decision-making skills, at least 1-year institutional nursing experience, and home care, hospice or triaging experience is a plus but not needed! We will train the right candidate!

Qualifications

* A minimum of 6 months institutional nursing experience within the past 3 years, unless state regulations differ. The DON or Administrator may waive this experience requirement
* Registered Nurses providing skilled intervention for PASSPORT Patients must have 2 years experience as an RN.

Job Specific Details:

Weekend RN Hospice position with competitive compensation, mileage reimbursement and full benefit package. No weekday or weeknight hours required.

Educational Requirements

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state and in good standing with the Board in which he or she will practice.
