Job Description MedCadre is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Janesville, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: RN Med/Surg Location: Janesville, WI 53548 Start Date: 07/14/2025 Job Type/Duration: 13-week Contract Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (06:30 PM - 07:00 AM) Travel Pay Rate: $2416 weekly ($32.5/hr w2 $1246/week stipend) Local Pay Rate: $60/hr on w2 Position Summary: - We are seeking experienced nurses; The candidates must have current WI License and CPR/BLS. RN must be vaccinated for Flu. This is primarily an Adult Surgical Unit with a few Peds patient beds. - Travel RN may be required to float to other units. - This position will require every other weekend & holiday and 12 hours shifts (Nights 6:30P-7A). - Looking for travelers available to start as soon as possible Responsibilities - Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. - Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act. - Documents according to standards of care. - Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction. - Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, may include shared governance. - Utilizes clinical expertise & guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care. - Utilizes critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command.
