Job Description UW Health is seeking a Ultrasound Technologist for a job in MADISON, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: /n 90% FTE, night shift. 3rd shift, Wednesday – Wednesday, 7 days on / 7 days off. Shift length varies based on day. Holiday rotation required. Shifts and/or locations may vary based on needs. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. /n Pay: A competitive starting pay based on relevant work experience. This position also includes an evening differential. You may be eligible for a $4,500 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). /n/n Additional components of compensation may include: /n/n/n /n - Evening & night shift differential /n /n/n Be part of something remarkable /n Join our team and be part of the talent that makes UW Health the best work and academic environments! /n We are seeking an Ultrasonographer to: /n /n - Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations and may perform more complex imaging. /n - Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups. /n - Work at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility and several clinics in the Madison area. /n /n/n Qualifications/n/n/n /n /n - Graduate of accredited ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Required /n - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred /n /n /n /n Work Experience/n /n /n /n - Previous healthcare experience Required /n - 2 years of clinical experience Preferred /n /n /n /n Licenses & Certifications/n /n /n /n - Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) in a minimum of two concentrations: Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Upon Hire Required /n - RVT credential, if not already acquired, or Minimum Qualifications Substitute (MQS) if in OBGYN department within 30 months Required /n - CPR certification within 3 months Required /n - Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations listed above and RVT Preferred /n /n /n/n/n Our commitment to Social Impact and Belonging /n UW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
