Pay Information $2,919 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours (22:30 - 07:00) Experience: 2 years of recent acute care experience in the operating room required License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma experience Strong scrub and circulate skills Experience in Orthopedics, Orthopedic Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery Description: Position: Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. Shift: Night shift consisting of 5 days, 22:30 to 07:00. No block scheduling is offered. Call requirements include one 12-hour shift on a weekend each month, either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. No weekday call is required. Every other weekend is needed, totaling 2 weekends per month. Requests for time off are limited to 5 days, with no more than 2 consecutive days off. No time off is permitted on weekends or holidays, and no time off is allowed the day before or after a holiday. Floating is mandatory, and clinicians may be requested to float as needed, with a limit of 50 miles. The facility may notify travelers to float up to 2 hours before their scheduled shift. Refusal to float may result in cancellation. Clinicians may rotate between various units, beyond their primary area of expertise. Orientation consists of 24 hours, and this time is non-billable. Candidates must be responsive and provide estimated timelines for all required items. Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting the assignment.
