Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Surgical Trauma Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12
Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of two years of acute
care experience within the last three years in the specialty.
License: Must hold a nursing license valid in the state of
employment. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certified through the
American Heart Association. Must-Have: - Telemetry and oncology
experience preferred. - Basic Arrhythmia experience required with
passing of a telemetry test prior to start. Description: 12 hour
night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday. Every
other weekend and some holidays are required. Work in a fast-paced
environment providing care to acutely ill surgical and trauma
patients. You will join a team of remarkable nurses in a step-down
unit, where critical thinking and teamwork are essential. This is a
collaborative environment, advocating for quality patient care
within a multidisciplinary team. Travelers may be floated to
various units depending on staffing needs. Orientation consists of
20 hours and is a non-billable requirement. Pass/fail testing will
be conducted with strict passing criteria for telemetry competency.
Candidates are expected to have an active telemetry competency on
file.
