Job Description Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 10/06/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, flexible - Employment Type: Travel HIGHLIGHTS: - Inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to. This is a hard requirement - ACLS and BLS required (must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY) - MS/Tele experience required - Telemetry oncology, cardiac and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience preferred - Day/Evening, 8/12 hour shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm - Monday through Friday and every other weekend required and some holidays or to meet staffing needs - Must have Basic Arrhythmia experience - Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state - Floating - Travelers are the first to float - Local Rule: locals are not accepted - 1st Time travelers accepted - License must be in hand at submittal - Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location ADDITIONAL DETAILS: - Pass/Fail Testing required with strict passing criteria - A telemetry exam will be required prior to start with following criteria: Adult Exam: - 100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole - No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure] - Passing score of 80% or higher Pediatric Exam: - Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia - Passing score of 80% or higher - Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only - COVID-19 Vaccine: Unknown - RTO Requirements: Manager will review/approve during candidate review process.
