a prominent Level 1 Trauma Center in Chicago, IL. This contract
position offers a consistent night shift schedule with guaranteed
36 hours weekly, ideal for experienced registered nurses seeking a
challenging yet rewarding environment. The role demands clinical
expertise in acute care, requiring at least two years of recent
Med/Surg experience, and embraces a supportive team culture with
floating responsibilities to meet diverse patient needs. Key
Qualifications: Active RN license with at least 2 years of recent
acute Med/Surg experience BLS certification required; NIHSS
certification required; ACLS certification preferred Flexibility to
float across departments as needed within professional scope
Residency within 75 miles preferred to ensure accessibility and
continuity Proficiency in Cerner charting system or ability to
adapt quickly Responsibilities and Schedule: Work three 12-hour
night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), every other weekend
required Adherence to a maximum of five days off per month with no
more than two consecutive days, and no time off surrounding
holidays or weekends Deliver patient-centered care in a
high-acuity, fast-paced trauma and Med/Surg setting Collaborate
closely with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high care
