Cath Lab Tech Location: Oak Park, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,114 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: 1 year required License: Illinois License in hand or willing to obtain Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, IEMA Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Community hospital experience Description: Locals welcome at the same rate. One year of experience is required. Call required: 7-12 days a month. COVID-19 vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only. Flu vaccine status is unknown. Skills required include: Temporary pacemaker, cardiac ablation, insertion/programming of AICDs, accurate monitoring, cardiac stent placement, left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). Permanent pacemaker insertion, right heart catheterization, angioplasty, chest tube placement, embolization, ERCP, gastrostomy tube placement, IVC filter placement, liver biopsy, mesenteric angiogram, paracentesis, radio embolization, stent placement, thoracentesis, catheter/drain exchange, cystoscopy, internal/external biliary drainage, nephrostomy, percutaneous stone extraction, and percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram. Renal artery stent placement, ureteral stent placement, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, TIPS (transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt), carotid stenting, central venous access/port placement, dialysis graft creation/revision, and dialysis graft interventions (fistulograms/declots). Endovascular interventions, upper and lower extremity angiography, room circulator, scrub—maintain sterile field, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, coil embolization, venous access. Candidates must complete fingerprinting in the state of Illinois one week prior to the start date for any unlicensed positions. Candidates must prepare and have a plan to complete needed lab items within 72 hours of signing the contract. Modules are non-billable, up to five hours, and completed during orientation.
