Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Madison, WI Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,355 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Wisconsin Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Madison, Wisconsin Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour and 8-hour shifts as needed (1500-0330 or 1900-0730). Weekend and holiday rotation required. Highlights: Join Wisconsin's 1-ranked hospital, a Magnet-designated academic medical center recognized as a national leader in patient care and teaching Work in a high-volume, 58-bed Emergency Department treating over 60,000 patients annually across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics Gain experience with Level I trauma care, acute stroke, cardiac catheterization, burn center, and an active ECPR/ECMO program Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Approximately 20 hours of orientation with specialty-specific training and competency validation 4:1 patient ratios with access to full subspecialist teams for complex cases Requirements: Active Wisconsin nursing license or compact license (must be in hand at submittal) Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with both adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years Experience in an Academic Level I Trauma Center or similar-sized facility required Prior travel nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required, preferably within the last 12 months Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through American Heart Association only TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required Basic arrhythmia experience with ability to pass telemetry competency exam (adult and pediatric) with strict passing criteria prior to start Permanent address must be 50 miles or more from Madison, Wisconsin Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work at one of the nation's premier academic medical centers, providing comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population.
