Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Endoscopy RN in Rockford, Illinois, 61103! Job Title:
Endoscopy Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration:
13 weeks Shift: Variable Day Shift Hours with Evening, Weekend, and
Holiday On-Call Rotation Hours per Shift: 36 guaranteed hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Licensed as a
Registered Nurse in Illinois Certifications: Approved CPR/BLS and
ACLS certification required Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited
nursing program. ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred. Minimum of
2 years experience required. Description: Utilizes the nursing
process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in
caring for patients. Administers prescribed medications and
treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies
and procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice act.
Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of
care. Documents according to standards of care. Develops,
initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the
individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by the physician
and/or clinic policy including patient and family instruction.
Participates in department or unit performance improvement
activities, which may include shared governance. Utilizes clinical
expertise and guidance to other units and/or departments in support
of the patient's longitudinal plan of care. Utilizes critical
thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and
appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command.
Participates in the professional nursing continuum process, unit
practice activities and decisions, and peer review process. Offers
ideas and/or solutions to practice issues. Uses innovative methods
and intuitive skills to develop and implement plans of care.
Provides innovative ways to educate patients and families.
Initiates interdisciplinary collaboration to meet the
patient/family educational needs. Actively participates in
mentoring and precepting new partners to the organization.
Positively influences the professional and organizational
environments and shared governance. Engages in personal development
and supports system-entity opportunities for continuous learning
and growth, including developing or revising evidence-based
practice guidelines. Actively participates in a minimum of one
