partnering with a well-established ophthalmology practice in
Chicago seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician
Assistant to join their clinical team. This role focuses on
diabetic eye exams and routine ophthalmic evaluations , including
medical clearance exams for surgical procedures. No prior
ophthalmology experience is required — comprehensive training will
be provided. Position Highlights Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule
No weekends Standard clinic hours Collaborative ophthalmology
setting Training provided for ophthalmic-specific skills Other
available locations : schaumburg, Albany, oakbrook Terrace, Buffalo
Grove, Oak lawn. Clinical Responsibilities Perform diabetic eye
examinations Conduct standard eye evaluations and pre-surgical
clearances Review patient history and coordinate care with
ophthalmologists Provide patient education and follow-up care
Compensation & Benefits $65–$70 per hour (negotiable based on
experience) Full benefits package, including: Health, dental, and
vision insurance Paid time off CME support Requirements Active,
unrestricted Illinois NP or PA license Certification in Family
Medicine, Adult-Gerontology , or a related field Comfortable
working in an outpatient clinical setting Strong communication and
