Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to
join our dynamic team, focused on providing top-tier rehabilitation
and home health services. Our ideal candidate is a compassionate
healthcare professional who is ready to assist in the recovery
journeys of patients with respiratory ailments by assessing,
treating, and caring for patients with breathing or other
cardiopulmonary disorders. This role will collaborate with a
supportive team to implement and monitor patient care plans,
ensuring the highest quality of life possible. Assess and diagnose
patient respiratory conditions through physical examinations and
diagnostic tests. Construct and oversee continuing care plans in
conjunction with other healthcare professionals. Educate patients
and families about lung health and ongoing wellness. Operate and
monitor respiratory care equipment. Respond to and address
emergency care situations. Maintain patient confidentiality and
document healthcare information. Expert knowledge of respiratory
care procedures and equipment. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills. Capability to handle stressful and critical
situations effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills. Proficient in the use of medical software for patient
management. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Credential Registered
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory
Care (NBRC) preferred.
