Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Clinical
Lead for our Specialty units to guide, mentor, and provide expert
patient care within our faith-based healthcare organization. This
pivotal role involves leading nursing practices, managing clinical
staff, and driving initiatives in collaboration with
multidisciplinary teams to foster a healing and supportive
environment in alignment with our mission to innovate and
personalize healthcare delivery. Oversee the nursing staff and
coordinate with other healthcare team members to ensure exceptional
patient care standards. Develop and implement policies, standards,
and protocols in line with the latest medical guidelines and
regulations. Mentor and train nursing staff, fostering a supportive
and educational environment to enhance professional growth and
patient care skills. Monitor patient care for complexity and
acuity, ensuring appropriate nursing interventions are set and
followed. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and
hospital standards. Participate in recruitment, hiring, and
evaluation of staff members within the specialty units. Lead
quality assurance and patient safety initiatives, analyzing
outcomes and proposing proactive corrective measures. Collaborate
with interdisciplinary teams to co-ordinate and optimize patient
care and facility operations. Expertise in clinical skills specific
to specialty area (e.g., Cardiology, Oncology, Pediatrics). Strong
leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact with patients and
healthcare staff effectively. Proficiency in data management
systems and electronic health records. Ability to multitask,
prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Familiarity with
healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements. Medical

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Certification in a specialty area (e.g., CCRN, CNOR, etc.)
preferred. BLS/ACLS certification required.
