(CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating
Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A registered nurse with
Operating Room Technician (ORT) skills is needed for a contract
position in Tinley Park, IL. This role involves working 10-hour day
shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, with required call coverage on
weekdays and weekends. Call responsibilities include weekday
evenings from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM and a total of 60 hours over the
weekend, ensuring comprehensive patient care coverage. Key
Responsibilities: Provide skilled nursing and technical support
within the operating room environment Respond promptly to call
duties during designated hours on weekdays and weekends Collaborate
with surgical and nursing teams to maintain efficient workflow
Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation
Maintain compliance with facility protocols and safety standards
Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in
an operating room or surgical setting Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification required Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred
Ability to handle on-call responsibilities and remain responsive
during assigned hours Strong communication and teamwork skills
