Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30; hours adjust to 08:00 - 16:30 when on call) Experience: Minimum 2 years of scrub experience required License: Pending state license accepted, must be active by start Certifications: Must obtain all required certifications prior to start Must-Have: - Experience with cerebral and neurovascular procedures preferred - Ability to scrub cases and familiarity with wires - Experience with GE and Siemens Fluoro rooms - Knowledge of vascular IR including endografts, neurovascular, and trauma procedures Description: Seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech for a busy department. The position involves working with stroke thrombectomy procedures. Every third or fourth weekend on call is required, along with one day a week. During weeks with increased coverage, either 2 or 3 doctors may be present. Weekends are only on-call with no floating required. If the position starts in late July, there may be no holiday to cover unless the timeline extends into Thanksgiving. The ideal candidate must have good experience in neurovascular IR as well as body IR. The role involves scrubbing cases and working effectively in a fast-paced environment. Travelers must complete required modules before starting the position. Candidates must agree to complete up to 8 hours of training modules within one week of signing. All modules are self-reported and are billable. This position does not accept local candidates; travelers must live at least 50 miles away from the facility. Only first-time travelers with the required experience will be considered. Applicants are required to comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons.
