Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Banquet
Sous Chef to join our culinary team at [Hotel Name]. As the Banquet
Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional
dining experiences for our banquet and event guests. You will
assist in overseeing the preparation, presentation, and execution
of all banquet menu items, ensuring the highest standards of
quality, taste, and service. This is an exciting opportunity for a

fast-paced, high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist
the Banquet Chef in planning, organizing, and supervising all
banquet kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking,
and plating. Ensure all banquet dishes are prepared to the highest
standards of quality, presentation, and consistency. Collaborate
with the Executive Chef and Banquet Chef to develop and refine
banquet menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and guest
preferences. Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring proper
techniques, safety protocols, and sanitation standards are
followed. Monitor food inventory levels, assist with ordering
supplies, and minimize waste to maintain cost efficiency.
Coordinate with the banquet service team to ensure seamless
execution of events, including weddings, corporate functions, and
special occasions. Maintain compliance with health and safety
regulations, including HACCP and local food safety standards. Step
into the role of Banquet Chef in their absence, ensuring smooth
kitchen operations. Stay updated on culinary trends and bring
innovative ideas to enhance the banquet dining experience.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in
a high-volume banquet or catering environment. Culinary degree or
equivalent professional training preferred. Strong knowledge of
banquet kitchen operations, including menu planning, food
preparation, and plating techniques. Excellent leadership and team
management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to handle
multiple events simultaneously. Familiarity with food cost control,
inventory management, and kitchen equipment. Passion for culinary
excellence and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest
experiences. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
