  • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or similar field
  • At least 5-years of industry experience as an effective technical writer
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry particularly experience or knowledge of engine operation and maintenance preferred
  • Previous illustration experience is a preferred but not required
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex, highly technical topics
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience working within a technical engineering infrastructure - preferred
  • Experience with Madcap Flare, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop desired
  • Previous software development experience preferred
  • Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
  • Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards
  • Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
  • Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience and sets our users up for success
