JOB DESCRIPTION
Must-have skills for this role:
1. Cobol
2. Unix scripting
3. DB2 LUW

Years of experience required for each skill: at least 6 years relevant skills

Primary job duties/responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and Resolution: Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to software applications.

Technical Support: Providing first and second-level support to end-users, including responding to inquiries and assisting with technical problems.

Application Maintenance: Maintaining the integrity and functionality of software applications, including performing updates, patches, and configuration changes.

Performance Monitoring: Monitoring application performance and system alerts to proactively identify and address potential issues.

Documentation: Documenting support procedures, issue resolutions, and best practices.

Collaboration: Collaborating with development, infrastructure, and other teams to ensure smooth application operations and timely issue resolution.

Knowledge Base Management: Maintaining and updating a knowledge base of support procedures and issue resolutions.
