What You Will Do onX is seeking a Sr. Web Marketing Manager to lead
the strategic direction and optimization of our digital presence
across onxmaps.com and associated web properties
(adventureprojects.net, outdoorproject.com, toprut.com, and
potential future integrations). This role demands a
forward-thinking leader who can balance innovation with data-driven
decision-making, advocating for a premium brand experience while
optimizing for performance and achieving key business goals.
Combining strategic oversight, analytical insight, project
management excellence, and cross-functional leadership and
collaboration, the Sr. Web Marketing Manager will drive user
engagement, enhance user experience, and position onX as a leader
in the digital outdoor space. This role reports to the Sr. Director
of Growth Marketing. As an onX Public Relations (PR) Manager, your
essential job duties and responsibilities will look like: Web
Strategy & Roadmap Define and execute a comprehensive web strategy
aligned with business goals (traffic, conversion, brand
engagement). Manage the website roadmap, prioritizing projects
based on impact, resources, and company objectives. Collaborate
with cross-functional teams to align website initiatives with
product launches, campaigns, and strategic priorities. Conduct
regular audits to identify areas for optimization and propose new
features (e.g., customer portal, learning centers). Performance &
Analytics Set and track website performance KPIs using tools like
Google Analytics & Looker. Generate actionable insights from web
data to optimize user journeys and conversion rates. Build and
manage dashboards & reporting tools to provide visibility into
website health and effectiveness. User Experience (UX) & Content
Strategy Partner with Design, Content, and Creative teams to create
intuitive, user-centric web experiences. Optimize site structure,
navigation, and merchandising to improve engagement and ease of
use. Ensure website content is brand-aligned, engaging, and
strategically structured to drive conversions. Conversion Rate
Optimization (CRO) Lead CRO strategy to improve key funnel stages
and eliminate conversion bottlenecks. Implement A/B testing and
experimentation using platforms like Optimizely & VWO. Balance
conversion goals with brand integrity, ensuring a seamless and
effective user experience. SEO & Organic Growth Collaborate with
the SEO Manager and Web Engineers to optimize site architecture and
content for organic visibility. Stay informed on industry updates &
algorithm changes, adjusting strategies accordingly. Project
Management & Execution Oversee multiple website projects, managing
timelines, quality, and stakeholder alignment. Utilize Agile
methodologies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to
enhance efficiency. Partner with technical teams to ensure seamless
execution and integration of new tools & AI-driven efficiencies.
Stakeholder Alignment & Leadership Act as the primary point of
contact for website strategy, aligning cross-functional teams and
driving collaboration. Present insights and strategic
recommendations to leadership teams, influencing decision-making.
What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business,
Communications, or equivalent experience. 8 years of experience in
web marketing, digital strategy, or website management, with a
proven track record of driving measurable growth, engagement, and
conversion. Expertise in managing multi-site ecosystems, balancing
brand awareness, lead generation, and retention goals. Strong
analytical skills with proficiency in website performance
analytics, CRO, A/B testing, and tools like Google Analytics,
Looker, VWO, or Optimizely. Deep understanding of SEO best
practices and their impact on organic growth. Experience
collaborating cross-functionally with UX designers, developers, and
content strategists to create seamless, user-centric experiences.
Familiarity with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and
KPI-driven optimization. Ability to interpret data (qualitative and
quantitative) to identify user pain points, optimize site
structure, and enhance customer journeys. Hands-on experience with
CMS platforms and personalization engines. Knowledge of web
compliance requirements, including privacy, security, and
accessibility. Proven leadership in cross-functional teams,
aligning stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and
communicating insights and strategy to senior leadership across
Marketing, Product, SEO, Engineering, and Creative teams. A shared

Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with
onX. Ability to travel (up to) quarterly for multiple days to a
corporate office or other onX strategic location, such as a
Basecamp. Added Bonuses Though not required, we would be thrilled
to consider candidates with any of the following: Strong grasp of
AI-driven tools and emerging web technologies that can enhance
efficiency and user experience. Background in outdoor,
subscription-based consumer product, or SaaS industries is a plus.
Where You Can Work onX has created a thriving distributed workforce

performed from an onX corporate office, “Basecamp,” or “Connection
Hub”. Corporate Offices: onX was founded in Montana with offices in
Missoula and Bozeman. If you prefer to work in an office at least
part of the time, this is a great option. Basecamps: onX’s
Basecamps are established virtual workforce communities where a
sizable number of distributed team members group for work,
volunteering, socializing, and adventure. Our current Basecamps are
located within a 90-mile radius of the following: Austin, TX;
Denver, CO; Kalispell, MT; Minneapolis, MN; Portland, OR; Salt Lake
City, UT; and Seattle, WA. Connection Hubs: onX’s Connection Hub
locations are smaller, emerging communities of distributed team
members. Our current Connection Hubs are located within a 60-mile
radius of the following: Boise, ID; Charleston, SC; Charlotte, NC;
Dallas/Fort Worth, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Richmond, VA; Spokane, WA; the
Bay Area of California, and Vermont. How You’ll Be Compensated onX
is committed to compensating all employees fairly and equitably for
their contributions. For this position, applicants can expect to
make between $113,000 to $141,000 upon hire. The pay range will
vary based on experience, skills, certifications, and education
among other factors as required in the job description. In
addition, full-time onX employees are eligible for a grant of
common share options with a vesting schedule and a potential annual
