Job Description:
Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver /
Courier to join our team. This position plays a vital role in
ensuring the timely and safe delivery of non-hazardous solid waste
and recycled materials to designated facilities. As a
representative of Republic Services, with our iconic blue trucks,
you'll adhere to company policies and compliance with local, state,
and federal transportation regulations. This role requires a
commitment to safety procedures, punctuality, and customer service,
as you'll often be the front line in interacting with our
customers. Operate vehicles for the removal of non-hazardous solid
waste and recycling materials. Perform daily pre- and post-trip
vehicle inspections. Adhere to route schedules, safely load, and
unload materials. Provide outstanding customer service and address
customer issues when necessary. Maintain logs of travel and cargo
according to federal and state regulations. Follow all vehicular
and environmental safety standards to minimize risks. Collaborate
with dispatch and other team members to manage routes efficiently.
