Join the team of dedicated professionals at Republic Services, Inc., a leader in the U.S non-hazardous solid waste and recycling industry, and contribute to our mission of handling waste responsibly. As a RollOff Truck Driver, you will operate heavy-duty trucks and are responsible for the collection of waste or recyclable material. You will navigate high traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots. Your role is crucial in ensuring operational efficiency in a safe manner, aligning with all relevant regulatory requirements. Safely operate a heavy-duty RollOff truck to service customers by removing and transporting waste or recyclables to disposal sites or recycling plants. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections on the vehicle and report any problems or damage to management. Follow route assignments as directed and complete end-of-day documentation and check out process. Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner. Attend and participate in all scheduled training programs and meetings. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations related to waste disposal and recycling. Ability to maneuver and control heavy vehicles Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic knowledge of truck maintenance Adaptability to changing environments Focus on safety and efficiency Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with air brake endorsement. Safe driving record in accordance with Republic Services standards.
