Job Description Job Description Job Title: Assembly Technician Job Description We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves coordinating with other assembly associates to support integration testing, manual instruction development, and production process development. The position is on the 1st shift, Tuesday through Friday, and focuses on maintaining a high-quality process. Responsibilities Coordinate with assembly associates to support integration testing and production process development. Perform hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of system builds and re-work. Work from documented procedures and maintain quality data. Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of work areas and assure adherence to safety standards. Handle, label, and dispose of hazardous chemicals properly. Share knowledge and train co-workers and new employees. Establish effective working partnerships with other departments to promote communication and knowledge transfer. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills 2-3 years of experience performing assembly in a GMP environment. 2-3 years of experience in product documentation and labeling. Proficiency with hand tools. Experience with production, inspection, and work instruction in a medical device or GMP setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience within a cleanroom environment. Backgroun in medical or pharmaceutical devices is preferred. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a clean, temperature-controlled, GMP/FDA regulated production environment. The facility performs testing for numerous doctors and medical systems in the US. Samples are mixed with reagents to diagnose various illnesses and diseases. Employees work in a cleanroom environment without direct contact with vials. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Northbrook, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
