Description Coating Operator ($18-$22 per hour!) Sumitomo is looking for a Coating Operator to join our growing team. Brief Description: Operate and set up one or more PVD coating machines to perform machine operations on highly repetitive and standardized parts. With technical guidance, keep coating department machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair. Must follow company standards that are currently in place. Communicate any production problems with team lead and/or supervisor. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail Good communication skills Mechanical aptitude (follow work instructions, use basic hand tools) Ability to learn the operation of the coating equipment Exceptional Benefits: Medical Insurance (ZERO DEDUCTIBLE MEDICAL PLAN AVAILABLE!) Work Environment: Well-lit and temperature-controlled machine shop. Staff members will need to be able to work while standing, sitting, bending, and climbing. Staff members will be occasionally working inside of machines.
