The Process Engineer will be based in Buffalo Grove, IL . The
Process Engineer will be responsible for process-engineering
capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in
order to support a manufacturing organization.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Develop injection molding processes using proven scientific
Validate injection mold and work cell through IQ,OQ, PQ
Document in detail, molding process, mold set up, work cell
layout, and trouble shooting information for each job that is
Participate in project meetings in order to keep project on
track until completion of validation into production.
Support current production needs for trouble shooting and
Comply with all company established, and state and federal
guidelines on Health, Safety and Environment and operational
Support Product Development/Design Engineering activities.
Support Six Sigma & Lean Activities.
Define, Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes
Have the capability to independently or together with other
engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the
Support and oversee new process equipment production.
Support the raising and introduction of engineering change
Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process
Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process
Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing
Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.
Improve manufacturing techniques and through put.
Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that
will improve in-house capabilities and yields.
Develop and maintain process documentation.
Review processing methods.
Interface with production of all activities associated with new
process implementation and transfer.
Lead cost improvement/reduction programs.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
+5 years of experience
Molding set up trouble shooting
Here are a few of our preferred experiences:
Knowledge of Scientific Molding principals
Medical device manufacturing experience
Degree in Plastics Engineering (Masters is a plus)
