Job DescriptionCaremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Buffalo Grove, IL: Sr. Advisor, Application Development to Design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members.Required QualificationsBachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in each of the following: CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Java, Python, or Node.js; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Agile methodologies; SAFe Software Development Principles; ATG Commerce or Spring Boot microservices; Angular, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, or Backbone; and REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs.Preferred QualificationsSee Required Qualifications.EducationSee Required Qualifications.Business OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
