In this role you will gain a hands on experience working within the medical device industry. You will be one of the Nuclei of the quality department making sure the you provide support across all branches of the business. Within this role you will gain constant growth in the Medical Device field. This Position will be leading a team of inspector, influencing bottom line profitability.Client DetailsI am partnered with a global manufacture that has been aggressively expanding for the last 50 years in the medical device industry. They manufacture end-to-end medical technology solutions in the Northern suburbs of Chicago. They are looking for a skilled Quality Engineer to focus on their systems and documentation. • Perform duties and responsibilities assigned by Director of Quality
• Perform product, process, and change control risk mitigation actions, utilizing: Control Plans, pFMEAs, Flow Diagrams
• Risk Assessment Audits, 5S Audits and ISO based Internal Audits
• Work Instructions, Process Mapping and Checklists
• Manage and Assist a team of inspectors
• Provide support for gauge calibration program to meet ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 requirements
• Create and implement new ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 procedures and work instructions
• Provide quality engineering support to all departments.
• Performs statistical analysis and write technical reportsProfile
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, including GD&T
  • Experience working in an environment certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016 and CGMP Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Experience with Lean / Six Sigma Problem Solving tools
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Experience with Gauges, Caliper, and Micrometers, along with other inspection instruments
  • CMM Experience
  • Micro Vue experience
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical analysis
  • Good understanding of SPC and Gage R&R including conducting studies and reporting resultsJob Offer
