Description:Hiring for a permeant role, for an assembly technician in medical device supplier working with small electronic products and robotic sub-assemblies.Shift:5:45am-2:15pm M-F (OT Available)1:45pm-10:30pm M-F (OT available)Pay:1st shift: $17.25/HR starting (with an increase after probationary period)2nd shift: $19.25 /hr starting (with an increase after probationary period)Location: Buffalo Grove, ILJob Duties:

• These are basics on the fundamentals, but will be working in a tech driven environment supporting various product lines overtime for key leading medical companies in the nation. What you do will make a difference.
• Will be working with the computer database, assembly and testing components, and hand tools.
• Responsible for supporting production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines.
• Applies job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of tasks.
• Acquiring a working knowledge of product flow and impact of quality.
• Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required.
• Must have a working knowledge of production standards and production goals.
• May assist in cross training focus factory members as instructed.
• This position receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments, and works on assignments that are generally routine in nature.
• This position is also required to operate within established policies and procedures and to seek approval for deviations.Candidates will be responsible for coming in everyday to their work station and start by reading the instructions for the specific job they are on. Reading and documentation will be important because the instructions tell you everything. Will also be performing in house quality making sure all parts are good. If not they have a policy "see something, say something" meaning if parts have issues please document what is defective.Will be utilizing basic hand tools- flat head screw driver, torque wrenches, Philips screw driver. All will be trained- important to know the functions of each job as there can be anywhere from 1-20 functions depending on the work instructions for the day.
