Job DescriptionCaremark, LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Buffalo Grove, IL: Advisor, Analytics to design and develop enterprise database systems and data warehousing structures. Duties include: ensure high levels of data quality in source systems and data warehouse platforms across the enterprise; design, develop and deliver complex, analytical solutions; utilize Python, SAS and SQL to access data and develop Tableau dashboards; leverage strong understanding of data modeling concepts to collaborate with members of the business, operations and IT teams; responsible for data stewardship and improving the quality and usage of data in Enterprise Data Warehouse and source systems; analyze, evaluate, test, and participate in designing the integration of multiple data sources into the data warehouse, remediation of data deficiencies in warehouse environments; collaborate with business partners from product development and management, operation, finance, and marketing; enable data-driven strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for existing product improvement and new product development; translate business needs into analytic questions; design and conduct rigorous analyses of pharmacy claims, medical claims, and other data to translate analytic findings for appropriate business and customer audiences; test newly developed functionality to ensure the highest level of data quality exists upon delivery; use business intelligence tools such as Tableau and MicroStrategy to design, develop, and maintain analytic products, including business intelligence reports, dashboards, data-marts, scalable data models and data strategy processes; integrate new data sources into existing enterprise data warehouses and data IT lakes by understanding both source and target data attributes like demographics, structure and models; create ETL Data pipelines for various big data projects; perform user acceptance testing by validating all relevant components of the analytic products like tables, views and reports; proactively interact with business users and gather business requirements for converting them into functional and technical documents; support analytical products and update them based on various related enterprise initiatives such as new acquisitions, methodology changes, migrations and consolidations; ensure that all the data flowing in and out of the database systems meets precise standards, such as a business rules, data definition and data integrity constraints thereby adhering to data governance practices; and evaluate new trends in analytics domain to develop appropriate IT data use.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience with each of the following: Extraction and manipulation of data using Teradata SQL or Big Data tools, including HIVE, Hadoop, and/or Spark; creating dashboards using data visualization techniques; functional and integration testing; R, Python, and SAS; and Business Intelligence Tools, including Tableau/R Shiny.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
