Job Description:
POSITION IS REMOTEA Specialist I will provide and support all
services of the Expert Services Group (ESG) division of the
Company. ESG augments Crawford's capabilities in cost estimating,
scheduling, and construction management. ESG works with Crawford's
AE partners and Agency clients to provide specialized services that
aid in the successful delivery of on-cost, on-schedule quality
projects. ESG core services include Value Management, Risk
Management, and Economic Analysis. Other specialized services are
provided by the group when appropriate and representative of the
skill sets of the group. Examples include Budgeting Models,
Manuals/Standards, Expert Witness, Schedule Analysis, and Business
Process Improvements.The position requires a wide range of
experience in the design and construction industry. Experience in
some of the services offered is desirable. Certifications in our
service offerings will be required, if not already
achieved.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project/Deliverable Coordination--- Effectively manage multiple
short-term assignments--- Organize and run meetings (single or
multiple days) with personnel from multiple organizations--- Keep
in constant contact with clients related to project deliverables &
schedule--- Coordinate with appropriate parties to ensure timely,
high quality deliverables--- Compile and report all deliverables
based on the needs of each client and Crawford standards--- Attend
meetings both in person and via teleconference based on the project
scope of work and client needs. This may include domestic as well
as international travel--- Obtain and maintain industry
certifications
- Marketing Coordination--- Update corporate resume yearly---
Assist with write ups and project information for teaming &
proposals--- Follow up with clients for potential future work---
Attend industry conferences and trade shows relative to ESG---
Support client relationships
- Accounting Coordination--- Monitor project progress, invoicing,
and financial information--- Assist with the generation of Fee
proposals--- Monitor timesheet reporting - time is charged to
appropriate job; time is reported accurately and timely
- Resources and Database Maintenance--- Store and organize
historical resources and data to be utilized on future
projects
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control--- Perform quality checks of
his or her own work to ensure all projects adhere to CRAWFORD
Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan--- Coordinate quality checks
with peers, discipline leads, other project managers, & the QA/QC
coordinator--- Perform Quality checks on projects performed by
other ESG membersRole Priorities for Specialist

Expert Competency with MS Office Software - Word, Excel,

interpret data--- Ability to maintain organization in a rapidly
changing environment--- Ability to operate typical office equipment
including projectors, meeting systems, and data connectivity
peripheralsEducation and/or Experience:--- Preferred - At least 15
years design and/or construction related experience--- Preferred -
4-year design and/or construction related degree
