Job Description:

Position Summary :As a Senior Advisor, Architecture, you will be creating innovative digital solutions that will make healthcare more accessible, more integrated and more reliable for more people, both online and in our stores. In the role, you will engage in the architecture, design, implementation and documentation of Application architecture within CVS. You will also work hands-on leading by example with proof of concepts, reference implementations, and you'll support architectural guides and present the work.

• Define the product application roadmaps in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders
• Ensure the technical integrity, consistency and adherence to architectural standards and principles of the overall solution
• Oversee the implementation of architectural artifacts depicting the solution consisting of all necessary integrations and technical components
• Identify areas where new business processes can be implemented using the native APIs and configurations available as part of the product, thereby minimizing customization
• Document necessary architectural artifacts for the system and ensure any changes are registered in appropriate ecosystem repositories
• Conduct POCs. Help and support developers in implementing architectural suggestions and guidelines
• Innovate in adopting new technologies and best architectural practices to ensure great customer experience
• Provide technical and architectural support to team members
• Contribute to architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-class applications
• Conduct design and code review with a major focus on the performance, scalability, security, and future expansion
• Direct and produce technical designs/architectures at a project, product, and program level with proficiency in the areas of design/integrity, service continuity, component redundancy, security, etc.
• Manages the architecture governance activities associated with ensuring solution compliance.
  Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience developing or architecting Web Applications using Open Source Technologies
  • 5+ years of experience with Java, React, UI Framework, Object Oriented Programming and Modern API Frameworks
  • 3+ years of experience with leading teams
  • Experience with architectural abstractions and design patterns
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with Architecting Web Applications systems
    • Experience with backend databases like Oracle, Cassandra, No SQL, etc
    • Experience related to security oriented projects and solutioning.
    • Some experience with Angular, NodeJS and related server-side concepts
    • Experience in developing micro-components, microservices, and deploy on cloud platforms like GCP, Amazon EC2, and Azure
    • Experience in microservices, CDNs, data caches, and stores
    • Experience in Jenkins, CI/CD Pipeline, GIT and other DevOps principles
    • Experience working with Agile development frameworks
    • A systems problem solver, able to move fluidly between high-level abstract thinking and detailed implementation
    • Open-minded to new ideas & approaches, and ability to implement the ideas using various technologies
    • A self-starter that is naturally inquisitive
      Education:
      • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience is required
