Position Details:
--- Title: Manufacturing / Installation Technician
--- Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
--- Travel/Schedule: Approximately 60% travel (detailed below); when not travelling, you will work standard day-shift hours at the facility in Buffalo Grove, IL.
--- Compensation: Target Base Salary -$48K to $55K.
o Bonuses/Additional Compensation: Overtime + Per Diem + mileage / gas reimbursement

Position Description: The company provides top of the line, full and partial automation solutions for both direct mail and retail pharmacies. The OptiFill and RIVA service groups provide support and expertise to the customers on company equipment and product lines. As a Manufacturing / Installation Technician you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing electro-mechanical parts, assemblies and equipment according to blueprints, diagrams and specifications, using hand tools, power tools, precision instruments and test equipment. You will also assist in the disassembly of RIVA and Optifill systems and prepare them for shipping to customer locations. Once on site, you will unpack, move and install fully-assembled systems. Some other specific requirements include:
--- Install equipment into customer site as needed; responsible for timely and accurate completion of all
paperwork and reports.
--- Dismantle and pack the equipment; prepare the customer site to receive equipment. Reconstruct equipment required by customer.
--- Consult with product support and engineering personnel to determine solutions to unusual problems in the system.
--- Accountable for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing company equipment.
--- Perform testing, calibration, checking, correcting, adjusting and part component replacement services on company products during installations.
--- Implement design modifications and provide installation support for the modifications.
--- Perform start-up service as defined in specifications.
--- Maintain service equipment, tools and documentation.
--- Refurbish machines and sub-assemblies.
--- Crimp wire terminals and build and test cable assemblies.
--- Wire inputs and outputs from motor controls and sensors back to the PLC control panel.
--- Pneumatic hookup to solenoids and valves.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have experience in the assembly, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of Electronic / Electrical and computerized electro-mechanical systems. A good mechanical aptitude is desired, as is some level of expertise with computers (software, remote diagnostics, windows-based networking etc).
