Finally, we provide an excellent integration with our operations and CSR teams to make the sales to operations transition a positive experience for the client.About the role: The Vice President of Sales, under the guidance of the Founder/CEO, is responsible for developing, coordinating, controlling, implementing, and managing sales as well as trade show activities of all divisions of RFT to meet the required sales, market share, and market penetration objectives of the organization.This position will be based out of the Buffalo Grove office but will cover the US. Reports directly to the Founder/CEO.RFT is a fast-paced environment, and we are looking for a highly motivated individual that is looking to progress in their career.What you'll do:

  • Plan the activities of the sales division.
  • Achieve the agreed upon sales objectives of the company.
  • Prepare a company-wide sales plan, including a Cost of Sales budget.
  • Hire, develop, maintain, lead sales division staff to meet the company sales objectives. Conduct performance reviews of direct reports in accordance with company policy.
  • Prepare operating budgets and operating within approved budget limits.
  • Train and develop direct reports to meet performance standards. Monitor and address sales performance
  • Develop and implement strategies to support the sales function, acquire new business, retention of existing business, and expansion of identified markets.
  • Develop and conduct ongoing sales meetings and training as needed.
  • Analyze customer database information for activity and trends.
  • Conduct market testing with respect to product development, customer profiles, and market territories as determined in concert with the VP of Operations.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree (a combination of education and experience would be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree).
    • 7+ years proven hunter-type experience in a consultative role.
    • 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience building and managing high performing sales teams to meet and exceed revenue goals.
    • Sandler Sales and Leadership certification strongly preferred.
    • Proven success in prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through a sales cycle, proposing, presenting, and closing deals working with C-level and other decision makers.
    • Demonstrated strategic, consultative, and analytical sales approach
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Experience in creating & producing presentations.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
    • Valid State Driver's license with proof of state minimum vehicle insurance.
    • Ability to travel for sales calls, trade shows, and field training (initially 10-15% but could be up to 30% post-COVID).Skills and abilities:

      • Possess creative problem-solving skills.
      • Strong sales presentation and exceptional interpersonal skills.
      • Strong strategic, interpersonal communication, collaboration, organizational, and time-management skills, and ability to execute initiatives internally and externally.
      • Demonstrates high levels of integrity, judgment, and emotional intelligence.
      • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
      • Able to build and maintain positive relationships - especially during negotiations and conflict resolution.What we offer:
