As an Application Specialist, you will be a member of the Stores
International team supporting propriety store point-of-sale
software solutions. The ideal candidate for this role will need to
have experience supporting and testing point of sale systems and
database maintenance. In this role, you will work with a project
team comprised of IT and Operations colleagues to install
self-checkout hardware and software in 1000+ ALDI stores. In
addition to installations activities, you will work with internal
customers to provide support for the current solutions and engage
in requirements gathering for any new requests.
Position Type: Full-Time
Starting Wage: $65,000 per year
Work Location: Aurora, IL
This role is eligible to participate in ALDIs Hybrid Work Program,
which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely
up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week)
Duties and Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree or a combination of education and experience

Experience supporting grocery retail point-of-sale systems, with an
emphasis on self-checkout.
Familiarity with AGILE testing methodology and best practices.
Familiarity with ServiceNow incident management.
Experience with automated software testing a plus.
Work is performed in an office environment where a computer,
telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform
